Democrat and Presidential candidate Barack Obama is on record for the following - in 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being too severe.
He does not believe in punishment for drug use because he admits to his drug use.
This is the Democratic Party in the 21st Century.

In other words - he has no intention of stopping it.
