State Democratic Reps. John Kefalas and Randy Fischer will hold a June 23 forum on the economy, and what they say is growing income inequality in America.

Simply, they want to be able to engage in what is undeniably a redistribution of wealth by way of more taxes and fees.

The response to this must be: No.

Thursday District Judge David Williams issued a preliminary injunction on the number of campers allowed at the Columbine Lodge in the Poudre Canyon. The injunction was sought after receiving complaints from a neighbor who reported trespassing and excessive noise from about 100 people at the lodge on May 31.

In 2005 a special-use permit was issued by Larimer County for the facility that limited 25 people at one time to visit because of the size of sanitary facilities.

Lodge Owner Michael Jensen of Fort Collins Real Estate is challenging the injunction because he claims it does not spell out what the "25" means.

In other words: Because he is a real estate type he should be exempt from the law.

Not at all.

Mr. Jensen has been quoted as saying if the injunction is not withdrawn and he is not allowed to have more people on the property he will sell it.

So be it. The law is the law.
