Democrat Ken Salazar wants the United States of America to reduce or eliminate the need for foreign oil. There is nothing wrong with this proposal.
At the same time Democrat Ken Salazar does not want to allow drilling within boundaries of the United States of America. Instead he wants the United States of America to become dependent on what he calls alternative fuels - specifically E85. As some know E85 in its present formula requires a gallon of fuel to produce a gallon of E85 - a foolish and wasteful proposition at best.
So why is Democrat Ken Salazar so intent on promoting such an irresponsible product? Because he and his brother John Salazar get a federal subsidy to grow corn for use in E85.
It is a concern the news media should be investigating and reporting on. It is a concern the news media will not investigate or report on because the Salazar brothers are Liberals and therefore above the law that otherwise governs all.

It is a remark of a true leader - those who should lead do not desire to do so. They do so because it is the right and proper thing to do.

Democrats Miss Marks to Finance Convention Kevin Moloney for The New York Times
The Denver host committee for the Democratic national convention is appealing to civic pride in its efforts at fund-raising.
The Democratic Party is struggling to raise money for its convention in Denver on Aug. 25-28, with fund-raising by the host committee falling far short of the party’s goals and lagging behind the Republicans’ efforts for their convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
So far, the Denver host committee is about $15 million short of the $40.6 million it must raise by June 16.

According to a recent editorial in The Investors Business Daily if Democrat Barack Obama were to become President of the United States of America and President Bush's tax cuts were allowed to expire in 2010 a single parent with two children earning $30,000 a year will see a tax hike of $1,600.
Children are one of the most expensive undertakings a person can commit to. With a tax hike such as this the future of the United States of America - the children - is doomed.
The children of the United States of America cannot afford Barack Obama as President of the United States of America.
